Message from the founder and president of Myelin Repair Foundation, Scott Johnson.

If you or someone you love is living with MS today, you will want to learn more about the potential that myelin repair has for becoming the next generation of MS therapies.

Until recently, the prospect of myelin repair was pretty much science fiction. Over the last 4½ years, the Myelin Repair Foundation has proven that myelin repair is possible. Today, we are sharing what we have learned with the pharmaceutical companies who can bring myelin repair therapies to you, MS patients who can’t afford to wait.

In 2004, we made a promise: To rapidly identify license to or partner with a biotech or pharmaceutical company at least one myelin repair therapeutic target within five years. Most believed that this would take 15-20 years to accomplish. As we near the deadline for keeping this promise, please help us by making your colleagues, friends and family aware of the hope being offered by the prospect of myelin repair.
